NOVEMBER 2013
After getting a better deal from our couriers we are now able to offer FREE POSTAGE on orders over £100, reduced from £175. This is pre vat and will automaticlly be removed in the "cart" section of Alloypaints.com. We are hoping to reduce this even further in the future as we get busier and are able to get a better rate.

New products listed this week include Wet & Dry sanding paper, 50 sheets per pack, many grades available, and also 2k White Gloss , 1.5 ltr kits.
Starting week of 14th Oct we are able to offer our Standard Thinner, Panel Wipe and 2K Thinner in 1 ltr sizes. Look out for them on the site.
New in this month are some great 6" / 150mm air palm sanders , at only £39.99 they are great value, come with the backing pad included and are perfect for our range of 150mm gold discs, at £6.99 for a box of 50. (Sorry, that sounds a bit like an ad from Iceland, LOL)

Cant believe we are thinking about christmas already, but here are the dates for shutdown, we are tied to these dates by the couriers, 22nd dec - 3rd Jan is office closure, last despatch is Friday 20th Dec, restarting Mon 6th Jan.
AUGUST 2013
Well, where did August go, the Alloypaints team took a well deserved holiday early on in the month, the burnt lobster look is now very popular in the office. Thanks to all our customers for working round us while we took a well earned rest.
Some new products in this month, Churchill paints have launched a scotchbrite pad, red or grey (fine,very fine), this is out on test at the moment with the Wheel Repair it team, Alloypaints.com sister company. As with all our products, we test them, see how good they are, so we can offer any advice on using them in the future.

Dont forget folks, alloypaints.com are on there holidays from the 5th-16th August, make sure you have all the stock you need.
New in this week, a Matt lacquer, made by Mipa, in aerosol form, goes without saying, if its a Mipa product its good, very good, we have had these out on test for over a month with no problems/comebacks at all.
Also new in stock, 2k black paint kits, 1 ltr of paint and 500ml of hardener, comes in Gloss/Satin/Matt finishes.

News in from 3m that at last they have a delivery date for the "Grey scotchbrite", sadly not until late July, but at least its a firm date, this product is a good seller for ourselves, and it seems there has been a worldwide shortage.
For those of you who have not seen our notice on homepage, the alloypaints team are off on their holidays, we are closed from the 5th-19th August, with cut off time for last despatch being 1pm on 4th Aug.
Another great colour in stock, VW BLACK MAGIC PEARL, as the name implies, black in colour but with an added pearl, for alloys that just dont want to be Black.

Launched this coming week is our "Economy" silver alloy wheel paint, at only £10 per ltr it represents great value, a middle of the range colour, not too flat, not too course, perfect if doing all 4 alloys. Available in 1 ltr and 5 ltr sizes.
Another new product just uploaded is Churchill Paints Etch Primer, available in either 1 or 5 ltr tins, thinned with 10-20% 2k thinner gives you plenty of useable product, tested by ourselves this product does everything its asked of, perfect if you need a primer for bare metal work.
Today sees us off to the Photographers with 24 new items to photograph, and then upload on the website, busy busy busy.
